DPW Laborer/Operator

The Village of Capac seeks a highly qualified Department of Public Works candidate. Reporting directly to the DPW Supervisor. The DPW Laborer-Operator will play a pivotal role in the Public Works Department. This includes underground excavating, water distribution, sewer collection, parks, streets, events, storm drainage, and fleet and building maintenance. A Michigan CDL may be required. The ideal candidate will bring experience operating and maintaining equipment

The Village of Capac takes pride in offering a comprehensive benefits package to our employees after 90 days. This package includes health insurance, dental, vision, a 457-retirement plan, PTO, and holiday pay. The starting wage range for this role is $18.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on qualifications. As part of our commitment to your professional growth, the Village of Capac will cover the expenses for obtaining a State of Michigan license, either S-3, D-3, or L-1.
