Capac Invites Public Input on Future Development through Master Plan Survey

The Village of Capac is updating its land use Master Plan and is seeking input from residents, visitors, business owners, and property owners to help shape its future. The Master Plan will guide development and infrastructure decisions for the next 15 to 20 years, focusing on community livability, growth, and responsible land use.

A public survey is now open through Friday, June 6, 2025, and can be accessed online at surveymonkey.com/r/VillageofCapacMasterPlanCommunitySurvey. Paper copies are also available at the Village offices and Capac Library. QR code flyers are posted around town for easy access via smartphone.

Public feedback from the survey will help shape goals, strategies, and priorities in the plan. Additional outreach includes open Planning Commission meetings and a formal public hearing in the fall. Community topics covered in the survey include housing, development, recreation, and village character.
